On April 12, 2024, OKR.BUSINESS partnered with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) to host a career counseling talkshow aimed at equipping students with essential tools for career success. This career counseling talkshow at UEH, held in a modern and spacious grand hall, attracted significant interest with over 800 student registrations. More than 350 students attended in person, eager to learn from experienced industry professionals.

The talkshow featured three main sessions designed to inspire and guide students, particularly those in their final year at UEH’s Faculty of Business Administration, on their career journeys. Mr. Nguyen Dang Truong Huy, Founder & CEO of OKR.BUSINESS, served as the keynote speaker, joined by other guest speakers. Mr. Huy and the students engaged in enthusiastic discussions about career orientation, not only after graduation but also for those interested in internships and gaining early experience.

Notably, in this career talkshow at UEH, Mr. Huy introduced the D-C-K-T-K formula to help students achieve success in both their careers and lives. This formula, which stands for “Đúc kết – Cải tiến – Kinh nghiệm – Trải nghiệm – Kiến thức” (Synthesize – Improve – Experience – Experiment – Knowledge), emphasizes the importance of synthesizing knowledge, refining skills, gaining practical experience, and continuous self-improvement to turn aspirations into reality.
Sharing the D-C-K-T-K success formula with UEH students
Following the presentation, the event transitioned into an interactive AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, where students engaged directly with OKR.BUSINESS representatives and other guest speakers. This session provided a unique opportunity for students to ask questions about career planning, industry insights, and overcoming challenges in the current business landscape. The lively and engaging discussion, with diverse and thought-provoking questions extending beyond career guidance, offered students valuable insights, bridging the gap between theory and practice and providing practical advice for their future careers.

The talkshow concluded with an exchange with representatives from UEH’s Faculty of Business Administration, introducing the “Business Semester” and addressing questions about this special course. The “Business Semester” is an advanced internship module, evolving from the previous “Graduation Internship,” where final-year students work in companies and are assigned professional roles (within their field of study) for three months. This valuable period allows students to gain practical experience, apply academic knowledge in real-world business settings, and better prepare for their future careers.
